Maintenance and weekly calibration of all your instruments used to measure the pH and the PPM is recommended. This will prevent from false lecture when using the instrument and it will help prolong the life of the electrodes.

The pH meter :
- Soak electrode for ½ hour in cleaning solution ;
( DO NOT soak more than 1 hour, it would damage the electrode).
- Rinse with water and dry as much as possible ;
- Grade in pH7 solution ;
- Rinse with water and dry as much as possible ;
- Optional : depending on the model of pH meter : Grade in pH4 solution ;
- Rinse with water and dry as much as possible ;
- Always keep electrode in storage solution
.The TDS meter :
- Clean the electrode when needed with rubbing alcohol ;
- As per the model of PPM meter : grade in 1382 Solution.
